Faculty Services Guide

Law Library Services for Columbia Law School Faculty

Research Instruction

The Reference Librarians are available for in-class instruction on subject-specific research. Additionally, Reference Librarians are happy to consult with students regarding research strategies and library resources. If you would like to arrange for a Reference Librarian to provide in-class instruction for one of your courses, please contact the Reference Desk or your Law Library Liaison.

Topical Research Guides

The Reference Librarians will develop research guides for particular topics and subjects to complement faculty's teaching activities. These guides generally suggest secondary sources for students to reference, identify important primary sources, and provide search strategies, but can be customized to faculty members' specifications. Please contact the Reference Desk or your Law Library Liaison to discuss topical research guides.
