On March 18, 2023, the Library received the following notice from CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), the publishers of China Legal Knowledge Integrated Database (CLKD):
In accordance with the Measures of Data Cross-Border Transfer Assessment and relevant laws effective September 1, 2022, CNKI will have to take actions to ensure our cross-border services are in compliance with the law. As a result, part of your institution’s access to CNKI will be suspended from April 1, 2023. Date of resumption of access will be further notified.
We are deeply regretted for any inconveniences this may cause, and really appreciate your coordination to fulfill the compliance procedures that might be needed. CNKI team stand ready to provide further assistance in this regard.
CNKI will do its utmost to conduct data cross-border transfer assessments and provide better services in compliance with the law.
You are currently subscribing to CNKI legal database (CLKD) and the access will be suspended from April 1 2023.
We are now doing our utmost to conduct the data cross-border transfer assessments and will restore the service for you when it is completed. And the whole process is estimated to be finished in about 3-6 months.
